So, I missed my last x2 pushup routines. Friday and Monday. No real excuse, Friday I did not have the motivation and Monday I went out after work for some drinks with colleagues and there was no way I was going to do them by the time I got home.
I really should routinely do the workout in the morning!
Today I had a crack - week 2 day 1 - and I PASSED!!
Pretty happy about that! :)
I only just got there, but a result is a result. Gonna claim this one!!!
Now for some protein and off to work.

Todays Food
Today I started with cottage cheese, yoghurt and cashew nuts. For lunch I had a 350g steak. Afternoon Tea I had a triple fillet bondi burger and I've just had 3 eggs on toast for supper.

frustrated
just annoyed I didn't get more done. I was really struggling last couple of pushups. After 5 on my last set I got so tired I had to break for 10 seconds. I was going to give up but felt I had a couple more to give and I did'em.

protein nom nom nom
I just got home from work. Its just after 6pm and that means I haven't consumed any protein since 3.30!!
I quickly whipped up some cottage cheese, yoghurt and sprinkled in some cashew nuts for good measure. Seems to be a staple these days. Whatever - it's got protein!!!

Update
Hi guys.
So, I didn't do the 100 pushups on Friday. I had a rough week, rough day. I was tired by the time I got home, had a couple of drinks and before you knew it there was no way I was going to be able to put in 100%.
I did a few pushups on Saturday just to 'maintain rhythm' but I didn't give it 100%.
Today I was back on the bandwagon and for the first time ever I did my pushups in the morning before work. I am stuck on the workout for week 2 day 2.
Here was the target:
10, 12, 9, 9 and 13.
90 second break between sets. I achieved:
10, 12, 9, 9 and 4.
I was a little disappointed with the results today. So I had for breakfast a big bowl of cottage cheese with yoghurt and cashew nuts (protein!). And then this morning at work I had a can of tuna (yuck!) but can you say protein? With a handful of cashews again.
Going to try and smash the protein this week and hopefully Wednesday I can really make some progress on my set.
Will keep you posted.

pass and fail
whoops! I forgot to update my blog last Friday when I passed my workout.
This means I get to move on to week 2 because I passed the test!!
Today I did move on to week 2. As usual, things were going nice and dandy up untill the last set.. target:
9, 11, 8, 8, 11.
I got:
9, 11, 8, 8 and 4.
ouch.
I'll try the same workout again on Wednesday!

fail 2
I failed again!
Same workout as last time:
8, 10, 7, 7 & 10.
I made them all except the last set I only managed 7. Going to do the same again on Friday.
I suspect I need to get more support from my chest muscles..
